Jacinta Moitoso: its a 60 falcon.just go grab a 302 with transmission and toss it in there and fab up an exhaust.I wouldnt even worry with the v6.
Dana Russian: Rice it up with a Magnaflow exhaust or something like that, or throw the 302 in it.
Len Dalba: 351 cleveland (you'd have to cam up a 302 to get the same effect that and a cleveland give you more power), hooker headers...i believe they make em for that motor, a c4 and 2 3/4" straigh pipe will do the job. and you can find 351 clevelands in F150s at junk yards depending on the size of the junkyard right along with a c4 tranny. take into account the length of the transmission though I don't remember how different ford's transmissions were but the driveshaft might need to be shortened. it's a lot of work requires a lot of bandages and a set of earmuffs if you've got kids with all the cusswords that'll fly....Show more
Kaylee Schmittou: My advice could be to get a miles better end set of aspects to you! r front sound degree, with suited amplification. There are not too many aspects that grant huge midbass reaction with out the desire for a subwoofer, yet there are some organizations that are especially reliable at filling in those low notes. the only ones i will talk from adventure are the Alpine variety R comps. not intense end, so they don't value lots, yet they have stunning midbass reaction. i for my area run JL Audio C5 aspects and the sound is heat, special, and not overly harsh on the highs, yet with out subwoofer it does not be adequate low end for me. I hear very reliable issues on boards with reference to the Hertz line and CDT for reliable midbass reproduction, different surprising names are Morel, DLS, Scanspeak, Seas, and Rainbow. IMO, you incredibly want a sub, whether its a unmarried 8" sealed merely to fill in those decrease notes that smaller audio equipment merely won't be able to reproduce. It would not could be loud or overpowering, yet a sub will littl! e doubt create the finished sound which you're in all likeliho! od searching for. i could advise a unmarried 10" JL audio w3, with approximately 3 hundred watts RMS capability going to it....Show more
Elfreda Grossen: 1 r u sure its a v6...they came with a I6 not v62 what engine is it,,you cant just "put on" fuel injection well you can for about 5000 dollars3 put a magnaflow muffler on it,,,but it will still sound like a crappy 6 cylinder,,,4 unless you really have a v8 and cant count,,,then skys the limit,,,go to wwwjegs,com or summit racing,,and go to town...

Arlen Lopiccalo: if all you are concerned about is sound you could throw a glass pack exhaust on it or pipe the exhaust right out the side of the car and not worry about a muffler. i dont know of any V6 in the falcon ranchero, it is probably an I6 and if it is the stock motor it would be a fairly small thing (144 ci according to wiki) that would need to be replaced to make any real power. agai! n if you are looking for it to just sound beefy look no further than the exhaust system, if you are looking for it to be beefy then look into a new motor because an engine much larger would probably cost less than pulling real power from a little I6. just my .02...Show more
Charline Granes: getting a fuel injection setup and installing it and having it tuned and setup is very expensive. if you've got money to do that then you can afford to drop a v8 into it. 289 or 302 are inexpensive. if not you can install a set of headers and dual exhaust. good luck.
