Chastity Doderer: I am a history major and I have generally heard that some jobs will hire history majors because of their ability to do research. With history you can always get into politics. When you are closer to finishing school you'll realize that it doesn't matter what your degree is in as long as you have one will get you jobs. If you are in college look at your schools history department web page sometimes they have things posted related to what job areas history majors generally go into.
